saturday

fyp meeting finally! i'm glad we have the same direction, and it feels pretty good
and exciting, although I'm trying to keep the excitement down before the ok is given to get things going
feels lucky to be doing something i feel for

and the pigeonhole is lovely, unobtrusive, quiet, and a good hiding spot from the world and the heat on a saturday, and with power plugs!
it was a blessing in disguise to be away from group therapy cafe, drowned in brunch hype within the first quarter of an hour of opening
stayed on to do work, found an interesting soymilk/soy porridge place
i hope to return there regularly to work

flux: the stately, proud lady floated like a ghost who owns the town,
with the masses of people following behind her,
trailing behind her mystery
i love how this engaged people, and it's a very accessible performance art
good curation for singapore arts fest, x1
although im not going for the events i really want to,
i like how there is such a variation of events, that both pushes the boundaries and are still accessible
good planning for singapore arts fest, x2
see no loopholes thus far, and it glides along smoothly, and well.

public garden arts mart, disappointing but necessary i guess
i doubt their usual pool of people have the money to afford these weekends...
undercut!

no uncles, only young people for us along with melting ice-cream; apple pie in a cup
the choreographers/organizers sat beside us and danced with them
sweet japanese ladies and a dude who used excel in japanese
and an older guy who sat behind stacks of the yellow festival booklet with his umbrella and clapped with the performance

went back muji to get more tote bags for the silkscreen
but was too late
no matter

it was a lovely night
just doing simple things and talking
and laughing
and an adrenaline ride for nine bucks
though that was no laugh

i got nine hours of sleep too
a good day, a needed rest
