skyfall:

the art of masterfully telling a story; a story written for the audience but maintaining the theme, messages and values - to balance both elements such that the intentions are incepted subtly and not art-house-in-your-face

  1. a monologue about rats steeped in symbolism // establishing character immediately and building atmosphere
  2. an excerpt from 'Ulysses': (I am a part of all that I have met;)
  3. parallels in: a return to roots to battle the reality of technology // a battle stripped and motivated by the barest of bones, the most naked: betrayal against trust, fear against faith // suggestions of wider battles in reality of the same elements: terrorist soldiers against established intellect

note to self: that this desire to watch films every day is a worth indulgence
